origins

a mission

Hi, my name is Brooke,

I’m 37 years old, and I studied Psychology at Edinburgh University and am currently studying to become a CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapist).

For the last seven years I have been travelling the world on a mission to understand the Self, diving into different continents, cultures, modalities and medicines. From thought leaders and gurus, to shamans and top scientists, I’ve been learning from whoever and wherever my curiosity has taken me.

From ayahuasca, changa and kambo ceremonies with the Huin Kuin tribe, yoga teacher trainings in Costa Rica, seven day fasted dark rooms in Bali, to ISTA Level 1s across Europe, Neotantra studies in rural South Africa, and expeditions across the Pyrenees with the one and only Wim Hof. It’s been one hell of a journey and yet it feels like I’m only just getting started.

While living in Cape Town in 2020, I was awakened to the horrific realities of gender based violence, and just how privileged we, as men, are in this world. If men are the problem, the world can only make sense if we become the solution too.

The Phoenix Project is the culmination and curation of the most effective and impactful methods, frameworks, techniques and resources that made the greatest differences to my life and my search for peace and self-understanding. The more we experience, in this world, the more value we have to offer others.

I run every Beach Morning and Coffee Morning personally, so I can’t wait to meet you and get your Phoenix Week underway.

"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?"

A MANIFESTO

A life of meaning is one of service.

And there is no higher service than in the protection, empowerment and celebration of women.

It is not just an obligation, but an honour.

It is not just a responsibility, but a privilege.

It is not just a calling of oneself but of the entire male race.

A duty that we proudly carry, but a victory we know we will never achieve.

Every day we must start again.

Every day we must do everything within our power to provide the safety and freedom for women to live their lives - loved, respected and carefree.

This is our calling.

This is our purpose.

This is what defines us men.

RAISING awareness,
raising FUNDS
